Roberta Thompson brings over 30 years of real estate experience to Florida’s Gulf Coast, following a distinguished career in California. She launched her real estate career with her family’s brokerage in Houston, Texas, later becoming a top producer with Coldwell Banker in Carlsbad, CA, before founding and operating her own company, San Diego Previews Real Estate. Her experience spans residential sales, business ownership, and navigating varied market cycles—equipping her with the perspective and resilience that only decades in the industry can provide.

Her guiding principle is simple: always act in the best interest of the client. Roberta approaches each transaction with curiosity and purpose, asking thoughtful questions to fully understand her clients’ motivations, goals, and timelines. She’s known for her straightforward communication, ability to anticipate challenges, and commitment to staying one step ahead. Whether working with buyers, sellers, or investors, she brings integrity, sharp market insight, and a focus on results.

Roberta believes that a successful real estate experience relies on personalized service, strong negotiation skills, and proactive, consistent communication. She holds the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI), Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations, and has received numerous production awards over the years. Her dedication extends beyond real estate, with volunteer work for organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and the March of Dimes, where she once served as an event chairperson and received the Volunteer of the Year award.

Now part of Michael Saunders & Company, Roberta was drawn to the firm’s collaborative culture, commitment to community, and strong local and global presence. She looks forward to bringing her experience and work ethic to clients across the Suncoast.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking in the area's coastal parks and trying new local restaurants with her family.
